dc.description.abstract Conjugated binuclear and poly-nuclear mixed-valence metal complexes have been of great importance because of their association with biologically inspired electron transfer processes. This kind of system with tunable electron transfer properties has a potential application in molecular electronics and optoelectronic materials. Multi-ferrocenyl compounds with strong metal-metal coupling are an important class of molecule with multiredox, magnetic coupling, and unpaired electron density migration-like properties. These types of compounds are potentially useful in molecular electronics, quantum cellular automata, and optoelectronic materials to fabricate high-speed photonic or redox devices. This review paper focuses on the synthesis, properties study, and application of multiferrocenyl systems. en_US
